FOIA

The Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) declares that all persons are entitled to full and complete information regarding the business of the government and the official acts and policies of those who represent them as public officials and public employees consistent with the terms of the Act.

The individuals designated as FOIA Officers by the Village of Fisher will be responsible for processing all requests for information submitted under the Act.  The current FOIA Officers for the Village are Mayor Michael Bayler and Village Clerk Christa Moore.

FOIA Requests may be submitted:

Requests for information can be made using the FOIA Request Form, or at the Fisher Village office at 100 E. School Street.  Office hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 4:00pm (closed 12:00pm to 1:00pm).  Records may be inspected, copied or provided electronically.  If inspected, a Village employee must be present during the inspection of records.
